90% of podcasts never make it past their third episode. This statistic matters because it explains why longevity has become the strongest signal of trust in podcasting.
In 2025, Tech Talks Daily reached its tenth anniversary. What began as a daily experiment in curiosity has grown into the Tech Talks Network, a curated ecosystem of podcasts focused on business, technology, leadership, and real-world impact.
Over the last decade, I have recorded more than 4,000 podcast interviews with founders, CEOs, technologists, policymakers, investors, and cultural figures. These conversations remain at the heart of a network designed to inform, challenge, and support decision-makers navigating constant change.
The Tech Talks Daily Podcast
Since launching in July 2015, Tech Talks Daily has become one of the most consistent independent technology podcasts in the world.
The show has surpassed 7 million downloads and reaches listeners in 165 countries. According to Listen Notes, it ranks in the top 1% of podcasts globally, out of more than 5 million active shows.
In 2025 alone, Tech Talks Daily released more than 400 interviews, generating over 2.2 million downloads. The show now averages 175,000-275,000 downloads per month, with a growing waiting list for guest appearances.
The Tech Talks Network audience is global, senior, and highly engaged. Listeners include founders, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, product leaders, consultants, investors, and operators who want practical insight rather than hype.
The largest listener base sits in the United States, followed by Europe and Asia, with steady growth across emerging markets.
As a LinkedIn Top Voice, I currently have 22,200 followers and more than 11,000 LinkedIn newsletter subscribers with engagement driven by discussion rather than vanity metrics.
Beyond audio podcasts, I have written 2,500 articles across platforms such as Cybernews, TNW, Inc., and LinkedIn generating more than 4 million views.

Who is Listening?
Audience data shows that the Tech Talks Daily reaches a predominantly professional demographic.
Age distribution reinforces the network's relevance to experienced professionals. The most significant segments lie between 28 and 59, with the strongest concentration in the 35-59 range. These are listeners who actively shape strategy, manage teams, control budgets, and make long-term technology decisions.
Smaller but growing segments in the 23-34 range suggest future leaders are tuning in early, while minimal under-18 listening indicates the content resonates with a business-focused, professional audience rather than casual or consumer listeners.

Why Guests and Partners Choose the Tech Talks Network
The Tech Talks Network is built on consistency, curiosity, and respect for the audience.
Guests are not rushed, edited into soundbites, or pushed into promotional talking points. Instead, they are invited into thoughtful conversations that reflect how technology is actually being used, debated, and challenged inside organisations today.
If you are shaping strategy, building products, advising leaders, or trying to understand where technology is genuinely heading next, this is where those conversations live.
Events, Conferences, and On-Site Interviews
Podcast interviews have become one of the most effective ways to extend the lifespan of conferences and product announcements.
Recording conversations with speakers, builders, and executives keeps events searchable, shareable, and relevant long after the show floor clears. These interviews capture tone, intent, and context in a way slides and press releases cannot.
I regularly record interviews on-site at global technology events, host panels, and produce post-event content that helps organisers and sponsors reach audiences who could not attend in person.
If you are attending an upcoming event and would like to record interviews, host a panel, or say hello over coffee as a long-time listener, I would genuinely love to meet in person.
About Neil C. Hughes
I am a technology writer and podcast host focused on making complex technology understandable, relevant, and human. Ultimately, my work sits at the intersection of enterprise technology, leadership, and measurable business outcomes.
One of the most memorable moments of my career came from hearing John Sculley's story firsthand. The former PepsiCo president shared how he was sitting on a balcony overlooking New York's Central Park when Steve Jobs turned to him and said, "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life or come with me and change the world?"
That moment, shared directly on my podcast, still captures why long-form conversations matter. Other highlights include Star Trek's William Shatner and going from listening to Gary Vaynerchuk to interviewing him at tech conferences in Armenia and Las Vegas.
Working With Me
Alongside the podcasts, I work with organisations that want to create consistent, credible content without turning executives into full-time creators.
This includes branded podcast hosting, executive interviews, ghostwritten thought-leadership articles, newsletters, and ongoing content retainers designed for long-term trust rather than short-term noise.
I also support companies and individuals who want to launch their own podcast or even build a network, handling everything beyond the recording itself, from editing and distribution to growth and monetisation. Click here for more information, and don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you are interested in sponsoring the Tech Talks Network or joining our network of tech podcasts.
